It was a fascinating experience meeting all these people most of whom work other jobs and learning that for a lot of them blues music is a burning passion. They make time to hone their craft and keep alive...

Much to our regret, there is a serious mistake on the cover of Riverside. The author of the song Monday Morning is not, as stated on the cover, Frank van Leendert, but should have read Moreno Moll.
Our humble apologies go out to Mr. Moll and we'd like to thank him for the use of this wonderful song.
Finally, our new album "Riverside" is on the shelves. We are very pleased with the result. It turned out a wonderful production with some really great songs: The familiar slow blues "Riverside Blues" by Dik Korving, but also the houseshaking "Mr. Brown", also by Dik. Then there is "Jena" by Francesco Frentrop, that has a real authentic blues feel to it. Or the emotional rendition of "Monday Morning", best known from Magic Frankie's live performances.
Then there is the catchy version of K.C. Douglas' country song "Mercury Blues" that's worth mentioning ("That ain't no Hank Williams song.").
All in all this short track album is a nice sampler of the many styles that the Bluesbeakers are known for during their live performances.
The CD is available from our webshop, at gigs (of course), or from Dik's garage (knock three times and tell him Guido sent you). If you prefer downloading, you have a choice:
